This week, we shared a video about how meat could soon be sold in Canada — and it’s raising some important questions. While it’s not entirely clear if cloned meat is already on store shelves, Health Canada has recently taken steps to lift restrictions on meat from cloned cattle and pigs. This means it’s no longer classified as a “novel food,” and products made this way may be sold without any special labelling.
